Co-locating QEM install with Qlik Replicate

Is it acceptable to install Qlik Enterprise Manager on the same server as Qlik Replicate?  Any drawbacks or limitations?

Thank you,

Joseph

Hello @dba_guy

It is not recommended to use the same Node/host to install Qlik replicate and Qlik Enterprise manager. as they both have the same set of internal ports for communication.

they may work on the same host, however not advised to go to such Setup.

Sushil Kumar

Hello @dba_guy

Both Qlik Replicate and Qlik Enterprise Manager are resource-intensive applications. Running them on the same server can lead to CPU, memory, and disk contention, which may degrade performance.

We suggest installing Qlik Enterprise Manager on a separate server to ensure optimal performance and monitoring.

Regards,

Suresh
