Connection Issues from Talend Studio to Talend Administrator Console - Intermittent Gateway 504 Timeout Errors

Hello,

Our users are running into issues connecting from Talend Studio to TAC. They are receiving the following message "Can't retrieve any project from Administrator Center, please ask for help from the administrator"

When they try to log in to TAC with their LDAP credentials, they get a 504 gateway timeout error.

I'm seeing the following in our Business Logs: [login=Unknown user];'Authentication failure of login[<USER>]

We're troubleshooting the configs using a local admin user, but all items under configuration will show as failed. Talend will also dispaly an Operation failed: 504 banner after refreshing configuration.

The error in the technical.log is showing the following for all parameters:

INFO Confighandler - TimeOut occurs when retrieving parameter <PARAMETER>

...

DBUG PoolTimeout

I followed this article and verified that our talenduser owns all files in the installation directory, but the issue persists: https://community.talend.com/s/article/All-the-parameters-in-TAC-under-the-Configuration-page-are-showing-a-TimeOut-occurs-when-retrieving-parameter-error-H0a2T

Has anyone run into a similar problem?

Hello,

 

504 Gateway Timeout Error means your web server didn’t receive a timely response from another server upstream when it attempted to load one of your web pages. Put simply, your web servers aren’t communicating with each other fast enough

Normally, this issue should be caused by internet stability.
