Inquiry Regarding Availability of Talend Data Management Platform as Docker Image for AWS Migration
Dear Talend Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
We are currently utilizing the Talend Data Management Platform for one of our clients, deployed on an AWS EC2 instance configured similarly to an on-premises server. As part of the client’s ongoing cloud migration strategy, they are planning to transition to AWS Managed Services. In this context, we are exploring the possibility of deploying Talend Data ManagementPlatform as Docker containers to align with the client’s cloud-native approach.
Could you please provide clarification on the following points:
Availability of Talend Data Management Platform as Docker Images:
Does Talend offer official Docker images for components like Talend Studio, Talend Administration Center (TAC), and Talend JobServer?
Are these images available for our specific version of Talend Data Management (if versioning is relevant)?
Deployment and Licensing:
Are there any licensing restrictions or considerations when deploying Talend Data Management via Docker on AWS services such as Amazon ECS or Amazon EKS?
Will the Dockerized solution require any additional configuration, such as persistent volumes or external databases for TAC or JobServer?
Access to Docker Images:
If Docker images are available, how can we access them (via the Talend Cloud portal, Docker Hub, or any private repository)?
Are there any specific best practices, resources, or documentation you can provide for deploying Talend Data Management on AWS using Docker?
Our goal is to simplify the client’s infrastructure and ensure a seamless transition to AWS-managed services while maintaining full functionality of Talend's integration capabilities. Any assistance or guidance you can provide regarding Docker-based deployments would be greatly appreciated.
We look forward to your prompt response. If you need additional details regarding our current environment or use case, feel free to reach out.
