Dear All,

We are using the SaaS version of qlik, so NPrinting si not available. And we are trying to configure the email sever with smtp.office365.com. We include the info the fields and when we test we get this error. In network monitoring the error looks like this, see below. Did anyone else had this issue?

    2. message: "Invalid login: 451 4.7.0 Temporary server error. Please try again later. PRX4 [DB6PR0201CA0019.eurprd02.prod.outlook.com]"
    3. smtpResponseCode: 451
    4. success: false

Thx,

Sorin

Hi @Rahell39 ,

the error comes from Microsoft, so it's something you'll need to investigate with them. Please consider that at the moment we only support basic authentication, so you need to make sure that you have a Microsoft account that supports it.

That error normally means that you have reached messaging limits with the email account.  This might not actually be true in the case of Office 365, because if there is a suddenly higher volume of mail than before (from a new source such as QCS SaaS), spam filtering can kick in and result in this error due to IP throttling.  It can resolve itself with time once a pattern is established.  If it doesn't go away on its own, you might have to work with your email administrator and Microsoft.

Regarding configuration with smtp.office365.com, be sure to use port 587 and StartTLS security in the SaaS Management Console, as I think that support for legacy ports with Office 365 might have been dropped.
