Hi everyone
When I am in the script editor and I click the cursor somewhere then start to type, the text starts typing about 4 character to the left of where it should be. Similarly for example if I place the cursor to the right of where I want to delete a character or something and then press back space, it deletes the character about 4 characters to the left of my cursor!
Have I pressed a button by accident or something that has moved my cursor? I thought it was something to do with the indenting but alas not!
I've tried deleting the app I've been working on, restarting Sense, restarting my laptop but I can't get rid of the issue. Please help this is driving me to despair!
EDIT/UPDATE!! When I press CTRL A to select all the script I can see a faint duplicate of the code in the background, coincidentally slightly off to the right. Very strange.

Hi Mark
Yeah it's pretty much any recent Windows version by the looks of it. Unfortunately it's not been fixed in Sense 2.2 Beta either but they are aware and working on it - hopefully they can get it patched and fixed soon. The workaround is a bit of a pain but manageable - just remember to turn touch screen back on if you do any Sense touchscreen demos!

Hey Stuart,
We are experiencing the same problem although oddly enough it is happening on one laptop but not another(same chassis). When you disable the touch screen do you need to reboot?
We have not been able to find a condition where we don't encounter this isssue on this laptop.
Thanks
Hi!
I have similar issue when the script contains TAB on the left side of the row. Qlik Sense script editor does not work properly with it. I have to delete all TABs or replace it with spaces.
May be it helps you.
Best regards,
Konstantins
Hi Konstantins
Did disabling touch screen capability solve the issue?

Hi Stuart!
Yes. You are right. It solves.
Sense even does not allow to enter TAB if touch screen is enabled.
I hope Qlik will solve it somehow.

Konstantins
It worked for me... thanks!

Hello Srividya,
This is definitely not an problem of the Chrome version. I updated, but stil have the problem. Only solution is to disable the touch screen. Hope they solve this as it is annoying.
