Hi guys,
Is there a way to download visualization from the load script? Can it be .xlsx format?
I am open for any tips and tricks.
Regards,
Todor
No - But you can use the Store command in the script to write a table not only to a qvd, but also to a text file.
Have a look at this Blog Post https://www.quickintelligence.co.uk/write-csv-qlikview-store/ by stevedark. Whilst it was written for QlikView all the load script concepts are valid for Qlik Sense.
Yes, but I want to save edited information, not a raw data. Isn't there a workaround using batch file?
Not sure what you mean by edited information in relation to the Load Script.
I mean visualization, which shows analyzed(edited) information.
In that case no can do as the Load Script has no concept of visualizations. It merely does the ETL to create the data model.
Thanks for sharing, Bill.
Hi Todor,
You probably want to be looking at this plug-in for Sense by akl :
It's not an official supported Qlik component, but Alex is a Qlik staffer (and development legend) so it's about as close to being official as you can get (without legal getting involved).
Hope it works for you.
Hello, Todor
What exactly are you looking for?
Because if you want something like a Straight table, or a Pivot chart, you probably want to export them after Selections are made, and the data is filtered.
If that is the case, you probably have to build extension, in which you define the object and it exports it to a specific folder.
