Hello I have this excel sheet that lists a bunch of part numbers and their % agreement by month for the year 2024. I need to add to this excel sheet the % agreements for 2025. For some reason when i add more rows the data gets all messed up in my table visualization on my sheet. For example tried to add 12 more rows under new RSR, for the 2025 months and the new %. Would look something like New RSR, (Part number cant show), then 2025-Jan, 8% for example. But the table data will remove some of the agreement %'s for 2024 and doesnt ever show the new 2025 information unless I remove all the 2024 data entirely from this excel sheet. Any ideas to point me in the right direction?
Hello,
Do you have any examples of data that present the problem to provide for testing?
Well for example, for the New RSR, there are 12 rows for this. One row for each month. I tried to add 12 more rows below it for the 2025 months and agreement %. Ideally i thought this is all i would need to do. So as you can see now the new 2025 months and the new agreement are included.
Here is what my visualization looks like. As you can see on the side, we have material numbers per month/year. I basically just want to add these new % to the app as we go through the next year. But adding the 2025 rows will create empty cells for the handshake % in the visualization. I also noticed that if i change one of the % values for the year all the rest of the months go empty too. So, for example. if i switched 2024-Jan from 5% to 6%, on the table 6& % doesn't show up for 2024-Jan and also all the proceeding months empty out as well.
Your transformations do not modify the format of your fields? Are your percentages considered as numbers?
Sorry, still kind of a beginner. What do you mean my transformations do not modify the format of your fields? Also, as for the percentages, in excel I have formatted those cells to percentage.
In the Data model viewer tab, you can see the format of a column after selecting it. As in the screenshot. It can happen that Qlik misinterprets the format of a field. This is unlikely to be the case here.
Here are the 3 columns that I feel play a part in this, the material number, the handshake, and the teco date field which I think needs to create a relationship with, in order to match dates up
