Grouping of dimensions in master item

Hi all, I have a requirement that I need to group the dimensions added in master items based on category. The Grouped dimension and its Category should be visible in master item panel and the user can able to drag and drop the master items from the Grouped category. For example, When we click the Calendar category in master dimension, it should expand and show the dimensions fall under Calendar category. Need your suggestions/inputs for the same.
