Hide bars with 0 value in variance chart

I am using the variance chart to show changes in item value between two time periods. What I would like to do is to hide the bars where there has been no change in the selected time period. I have tried to assign null to these but that does not work for me. Also, the chart type does not have the option to deselect "Include zero values". I guess the problem here is centered around the fact that all items have values in both the starting total value and the ending total value. Still, would only like to see the ones that has a change in value in the time period.

Any ideas?variance chart.png

Hi, I have also encountered the same situation here. Have you found any solution to this?
