How to conduct an audit of a remote user in Qlik Sense

Hello community,

We need to analyze (collect information) of remote users of the Qlik Sense Enterprise platform.

In the standard report, License Monitor did not see this information.

We want to create a remote user report, but in the logs we could not find an entry about it.

Tell me, maybe someone has already encountered such information.

I searched in the files "....LOG\Repository\Audit" and "\Trace"

Regards, Kirill

Hi

I maybe wrong, but i believe that you need to be connected to a VPN to the connect to an on prem instance, so I wouldn't expect Qlik to know they are remote. i would be speaking with IT to find out who is access the VPN and pair that with your report.

Good day,

Thanks for the answer.

We, through QMC (administrator console), remove the user from the platform.

I have administrative access to the platform and to the server itself, so I connected to the server and searched in a folder with logs (in the *.txt files), I was looking userid, but I didn’t see them, maybe I am not looking for them, or this information is encrypted, in a different format.

Regards, Kirill
