Hi everyone.
I'm building an app in which I need to show the picture of a selected employee. The idea is simple: end users will select an employee from a list, and his/her picture will be shown.
Pictures are provided by a web service which works perfectly on the web browser, just entering the appropriate URL.
I've tried Image and "Simple Table (w/ Links)" extensions but they happen to have the same issues with refreshing the image after a selection is made: sometimes, right after selecting an employee I can see his/her picture, other times it just shows the top part of the image or nothing at all.
It's not about taking longer to load heavier images, every image is lightweight and they load in milliseconds if I type their addresses in the web browser.
And here's the most random part to me: if after waiting for a while to get the picture loaded (with no success) I just switch to a different browser tab and go back to Qlik Sense again, the image gets fully loaded immediately. Since I guess that the web service providing the images can't be aware of which browser tab I'm in, I'm assuming this is about those Qlik Sense extensions not refreshing properly.
Is there anything I can do? Is there any other object I could use to show images?
