Is there a way to remove 'Select excluded' from Qlik Sense selections?

We have recently rolled out our first Qlik Sense OEM application to our clients.  I have a QlikSense app that loads in several 1,000 clients data and through the Qlik API my developers embed the click a Qlik Sense sheet into our product and pass it an AcctNum and that restricts each client to only see their data. 

But if a client clicks on a field and clicks 'Select excluded' it ignores the filters through the API and returns them all data, not just the clients data from their AcctNum.  Anyone know of any ways to help with this issue?
