NL Insight issue . Unable to connect to Qlik Sense Engine. Possible causes : Too many connections, the server is offline or network issues

Hi,

We have upgraded Qlik Sense from Feb-2022 to Feb-2024 patch 2 and faced below issue while testing the new component NL insights .

  1. checked the max connections in postgres-sql conf file which is fine
  2. checked web socket connection , working fine.

Can anyone please help on the issue.

Thanks,

NL Parser Service should be listening on port 4952, and NL Brooker Service on 4951.
Can you check in "C:\Program Files\Qlik\Sense\ServiceDispatcher\" if the following lines are on True:

[nl-parser] Disabled=true
[nl-broker] Disabled=true

If yes, pass it to false, and restart the services (or the serveur)

Hi,

Are you on a RIM node or a Central Node ?
Can you check if any error are thrown in the browser's console (maybe Error 500).
Can you check the engine logs too ?

Kind regards

Hi @mpc ,

Thank you for your reply.

Nothing on 4951,4952,4954

4953 - nl-app-search.exe

4900 - node.exe

4747 - engine.exe

Please find below.
