How to add data to charts in powerpoint?

I am aware of the way to add data in the charts by using the data in the table->add objects->select the table data>drag it in the backend excel of the ppt charts.

What if no chart or table is present in the dashboard relating to the information that i want to showcase and i want make use of the fields in backend of the dashboard and populate the charts based on these fields?

is there a way to achieve this? Can i make use of formulas and achieve this outcome ?
