HI,
I have a multi node QS Setup (Consumer and Central Node + Scheduler Node)
Reload tasks run every 15 min, 1 hour, 6 hour, once a day
The incremental data is very less.. the reload tasks max duration is 3 min only
After every reload and incrementally adding records to QVD the tables in script editor are dropped
Inspite of doing this the RAM in Scheduler Node is always on increase until it hits the min memory limit threshold after which it stays constant
Ideally once the tables are dropped the RAM should be free but that is not happening here
What could be the reason for this
BTW, there is no reload task failure
Hi,
When you restart Qlik Sense, Qlik Sense automatically reserves the min memory on Windows. This is not directly visible, only when it is needed.
So Qlik Sense takes more and more memory until the max memory limit. When the memory no more is in use, it will be released to the minimum of memory. Qlik Sense releases not mor then the minimum of memory. This system make Qlik Sense a little bit faster and thanks less resources to manage the memory.
I hope this hepls.
There is no memry leak, it works as design. And this is a good opinion, I think.
