I have a section access CSV setup like the following. I need to open up just a bit of User2's data to User1. There is another field on the same table ( It happens to be a key) that will work. Let's call it Reduction2. Fig1 works fine for what I need it to do normally but I don't want to open up all of User2's data to User 1. Will Fig2 work or is my logic off? Will User 1 be able to see his normal data and also data where ACCOUNT_2 is true? ACCOUNT_2 is normally only visible to USER 2. I am having trouble testing it because of my user access. Also, any suggestions? I am one month into Qlik Sense.
Fig1
ACCESS | USERID | REDUCTION1 | OMIT |
USER1 | DOMAIN\USER1 | USER1
USER2 | DOMAIN\USER2 | USER2
USER3 | DOMAIN\USER3 | USER3 |
Fig2
ACCESS | USERID | REDUCTION1 | REDUCTION2 | OMIT |
USER1 | DOMAIN\USER1 | USER1
USER2 | DOMAIN\USER2 | USER2
USER3 | DOMAIN\USER3 | USER3
USER1 | DOMAIN\USER1 | ACCOUNT_2
Thanks!
