Sense Calculation engine - single threaded field lookup

Hi,

I recently read an old post by HiC regarding the Calculation engine, and how the gathering of fields for aggr is single threaded:

"The aggregation step is multi-threaded. However, finding the relevant combinations of field values is currently a single threaded operation, and may occasionally be the bottle-neck when calculating a chart. "

I wanted to know if this is still true, and secondly if this may change in future.
