hi,
i have a bar chart that has a single dimension, "Year". i then have multiple bar charts that display a % of employees that work in a certain area and if they are full or part time. i needed to have a grouped bar chart and not a stacked one so thats why i made them single expressions and didn't just put it in as another dimension.
however, i now need to put a line bar in that shows the total, but my expression for this is only getting the total of each year(because that my only dimension?) and not for each area they work in and what role they are.
my line in my combo chart is coming out like this:
you can see that there are only 2 points in my line graph because there are only 2 years, however i want it to consider each area and the employee type,
so i want the line graph to look something like this(ignore the color difference, only the line chart):
the formula im using is:
=num(Sum ({<[Abs Type]={"Unauthorised"},Flag={"1"}>} [Total Hours])
/
Sum ({<Flag={"1"}>} [SumOfSch Hrs]) ,'#,##0.00%')
how would i modify the above expression so that it considers each "Area" and then each "emp type" as well as the year? and not just getting the total per year?
thanks
