Suggestion: Option to edit data field in app GUI, to reduce the mouse movement.
Although I find Qlik user friendly I'm sorry to say that no software has before caused such high load on my hands. A lot of mouse moves, and shifts from mouse to keyboard and back is required, especially when doing revision of my apps, when I'm basically doing minor updates in only formulas for many fields in many charts.
To limit this I suggest an option to edit directly in the app gui. Low threshold option: add "edit field" to left menu. Bigger change: some "revise"-mode where default response when clicking a field is a small (but resizeable) popup equal to the "Edit expression", with the option to save and exit with shortcut key (i.e ctrl+enter). Some keyboard options to move to next item would be nice but as long as I don't have to go all across the screen for each update I'm a lot happier.
Use case: Updating tables
Switching to "Revise"-mode. Clicking first data item. Popup shows up and I can easily change/replace the formula, ctrl+enter and I'm done. Tab to move to next item, enter to get popup, change/revise, ctrl+enter to save, tab to next...
From last item in a chart I assume tab should go to first in next chart.
