Sum of above function for individual category

Hi,

I have sales data for different products. In table.1,all sales are listed individually and I added a column 'Above(total Sales)'.This column comes for entire sales.

I need to prepare another table.2 where all item description is consolidated and another column Sum(above(total Sales)) is calculated. The sum of above sales need to be calculated separately for each item type.i.e,for each item type, sales data as per above() to be calculated and summation done. I tried as below.

But Sum(Aggr(Above(total Sales),[%KEY])) is not calculting seperatel for each item.Instead it takes the sum of Above(Sales) from table.1 itself.

Any help is much appreciated.

I believe you may need Set Analysis in addition to AGGR for this one, here are a couple of Design Blog posts that should help with that:

One of the developer gurus will hopefully run across things too and leave some better comments, but I wanted to try to point you in the right direction, but I am not very good with the development stuff myself, so apologies if I am way off here.

Brett
