Hello All, I have two dimensions, Week and Date in Pivot table. Date is getting grouped based on week even though its from different year. I want to remove this kid of grouping.
Eg :
I want to have something like below, But actually both 2023 and 2024 is coming under week 1
Week | Date | Measure |
1 | 02/01/2023 | 100 |
1 | 02/01/2024 | 100 |
2 | 02/09/2023 | 200 |
Hello All,
Anyone can help here pls
Hi, thats the logic if you have a field week 🙂 does not make discrimination by year, and is right
You can create a field year or You can make a concatenated Field YEAR&-&Week
YEAR | Week | Date | Measure |
2023 | 1 | 02/01/2023 | 100 |
2024 | 1 | 02/01/2024 | 100 |
2023 | 2 | 02/09/2023 | 200 |
YEAR | Date | Measure |
2023-1 | 02/01/2023 | 100 |
2024-1 | 02/01/2024 | 100 |
2023-2 | 02/09/2023 | 200 |
By the way Do you have a Master calendar? Week number for the last row looks strange to me
Good Luck
Hi Pablo
I don't want to have year infront or like concatenation. But segregate the week.
In general, it is not defaulting nature what you shown and requested. I guess, grouping rows measures fully control by measure how you define. Can you share sample data set and expected output.
I am sorry @Cbhuvi27 But I do not get the picture of what you need, as @Anil_Babu_Samineni said below info can help us to help you.
Thanks
You may make the grouping-information invisible but without such information how you want know which row is from which year? Even by adding an extra sorting which may provide this kind of information it will be a quite hard and confusing view ...
