Vizlib Writeback Required Validation in Drop Downs

Hello,

I am creating a Vizlib writeback table in which I use drop downs and would like to make them required fields. While I see a "required if" option for many data types, I do not see it for drop downs.

I know a work around for this could be to simply not allow nulls, but I am curious as to why this option does not exist here and if there is a work around this is more consistent with the other fields?
