Way of Filter Selections: View vs Sense

We recently migrated some Qlik View Applications to Qlik Sense and users are getting confused on the filter selections.

In View:

1.  Every time you select a value in a Filter it will de-select the previously selected value and selects the new value
2.  Ctrl + Selection, adds new value to the existing selections
3. Shift + Selection, Adds the selected Range

and this is in line with the standard way of filter selections across windows applications/systems as well.

However, its opposite in Sense:

1.  Every time you select a value in Filter, it will add the new selection to the existing selection
2. Ctrl + Selection, will de-select the previously selected value and selects the new value
3. Shift + Selection, same as [a]

Am curious know to why this change from the standard way of filter selections and also if anybody has tried any work around?
