no update field & no max id - is incremental load possible?
Hi everyone.
I have a few tables I have created qvds for and now I want to perform incremental load on them.
BUT...
In my qvd for the fact table: there are multiple date fields, but no last update field. Also, for the certain field of submissionDate the ids seem to have a descending order , but the thing is not all ids have values for submissionDate. They might get one submissionDate or they might even not, so in that case on the next reload, i will have lost this data. Right?
What would you suggest that I do?? Can I get the last reload time of the data and use this field instead?
Should I just drop them and recreate them qvds every time? This worries me a bit though, because what about when the tables get really big?
