Adjustment of settings in "Change processing tuning" landing task leads to data reload

After adjusting the "batch tuning" settings, I receive the following message. 

The settings you saved require you to prepare and run the task again. Click "Prepare", wait for the operation to complete, and then click "Run".

In Qlik Replicate it was not necessary to recreate the structures or reload data, why is it necessary with "data movement gateway"?
