Connection issue with qlik sense and amazon redshift

For Authentication we have 2 options Standard and IAM Credentials for redshift database. which option is better and  why? what is the difference in both ?

Hi Bhoomika,

I would definitly go for IAM Credentials, while Standard could be less secure because it doesn't require SSL (check this source for more info).

Regarding the access, you need to check your Redshift environment. Because probably there is no open port for Qlik to communicate through. So it can't reach your Redshift environment.
