ERROR [08S01] [Qlik][SqlServer] Connection broken unexpectedly.

Hello,

Trying to set up a Synapse connection using the Qlik connector from a Qlik Saas environment. But running into error 08S01.

We have:

• Whitelisted the IP's in the firewalls as per: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/cloud-services/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/Introduction/qlik-cloud-...
• Confirmed that the whitelisting and the settings (server, database, username, password) are working through SSMS

It appears as if it's a network issue, but we're just getting the above response, and it's not showing up in audit logs in azure.

We've run out of things to try, would appreciate any tips on either troubleshooting or fixing the issue if someone has encountered this before.
