Configuring the TDQ Portal for Talend Enterprise Data Quality 5.0.1

Hi,
We did a full custom reinstall of Talend yesterday to address some remote connection
issues and I had a question about the final steps to configure the TDQ Portal for use. We have TAC up and running and most of the items are showing as green. The database for the portal was created and found during the installation. I can see the directories for tdq in the new install directory (in C:\Talend-5.0.1\tdqp\apache-tomcat) and had the following questions:
1. Does the portal run as a service that needs to be started, similar to the TAC? How does the portal get started for use and how do I verify that it is running? When I tried to go to the url and port mentioned in the TDQ Portal Admin
guide:
http://localhost:8580/tdqportal,
I get the error:
Internet Explorer cannot display webpage
Does this mean that something else needs to be started for the portal's web interface to be available?
Also, is that url above correct if I set the port to 8580 or is there another one that needs to be set in TAC.
Thanks.
Installation Info:
Talend Enterprise Suite, version 5.0.1
JDK: Java(TM) SE -build 1.6.0_31-b05
Platform oS: Windows 2003 5.2 x64

1) It only runs as a service if you selected this from the installer or did that manually.
For manual start & stop use the start.../stop...bat created in the directory C:\Talend-5.0.1\tdqp.
2) URL seems to be correct - try flushing the browser cache / check proxy settings and / or use firefox to try. Make sure the portal (Tomcat) is running.

Hi Scott,
1.Make sure that tomcat is running or not. TDQ portal is runs on tomcat server.
2.To check tdq portal port number go to Talend installation path C:\Talend\5.2.1\tdqp\apache-tomcat\conf in that path you can find server.xml open it, there you can find connector port number.
3. if the port is 8580 type in the browser with url localhost:8580/tdqportal.
may be port number is not correct or conflict.

Hi,
During the install, if you have asked Talend DQ to use the same apache-tomcat as that of TAC, then try using the below URLs
http://<Ip or Hostname>:8080/tdqportal
http://<Ip or Hostname>:80/tdqportal
Examples :
