What make a preparation re-usable?

Hi guys,

I would like to know, what does make a preparation reusable.

I mean, If I make a preparation based on a dataset, and then upload another dataset almost identical with the previous one (same column name and position but different data), why can't I use the same preparation?

What is needed in order to apply the same preparation?

Thank you.

Hi,

The criterion for a preparation to be reusable on another dataset is that both datasets must have the same schema (i.e. same column names in the same order).

Thanks, actually I have these conditions on the file I'm trying to use.

May be that I have made some mistakes.

Thanks, at the least I know it can be done as I thought.

I won't close the post, if someone want to add some details, but thank you 0683p000009MACn.png

I can't use the same preparation for different dataset, even if they come from the same file (but different sheet) , but they have the same column in the same order...

I can only use the same preparation on the same file uploaded twice...

What can I do?

Hi,

Is there any chance you could share the 2 datasets so that R&D can investigate?

Thank you,

Gwendal
