Checking data quality of files in FTP

Is it possible to check data quality of files in FTP using talend data quality ?

Of course. Data Quality edition ships with the Data Integration and you can download the files from the FTP server and check them locally.
A remote read is nonsense because every read have to download the content in any way to the local machine.
