I downloaded Talend Open Studio for Data Quality v5.6.2 for Mac and successfully created a DB connection. Checking the connection on the Connection Settings tab shows success. When I go to create and run an analysis I get the following error.
eclipse.buildId=unknown java.version=1.6.0_65 java.vendor=Apple Inc. BootLoader constants: OS=macosx, ARCH=x86_64, WS=cocoa, NL=en_US Framework arguments: -keyring /Users/***/.eclipse_keyring -showlocation Command-line arguments: -os macosx -ws cocoa -arch x86_64 -keyring /Users/***/.eclipse_keyring -showlocation Error Thu Jun 11 17:47:19 EDT 2015 2015-06-11 17:47:19,907 ERROR org.talend.cwm.db.connection.ConnectionUtils - Driver Jar File Path is invalid! Since I am new to Talend in general I almost feel like it must be a newbie issue, however, I am not a novice.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
Is this really a novel issue?
Does anyone from Talend actually monitor these forums or is this some how supposed to be a compelling event to pay for software?
Would appreciate some transparency.
I am currently running OSX 10.10.3 (released October 2014) which is newer than your published supported OS.
I am trying to connect to Amazon Redshift. As I said before, I am able to connect at the data source and have an error running analysis.
Hi bdg, Just wondering if you ever got a resolution to this? We are considering Talend OS for Data Quality as a data profiling tool for our Redshift databases. Would really appreciate any feedback on your experience ... Thanks, -Elsie
