Dataset from HDFS: File Open Dialog

I create a new Dataset with DATASETS -> "From HDFS". In "Path" I have to specify the exact location of the data. Therefore I have to use Hue or something like to browse to the HDFS directory and find the file I'd like to load.

 

Is it possible to have something like the "File Open" dialog in Data Prep so that I don't have to use Hue?

Hi,

 

Yes, we indeed plan to have an HDFS file browser in an future version. There is no ETA yet.
