Unknown Jar is added as dependency when using UDI for talend DQ

Hi,

For my DQ i am creating some user defined indicators for snowflake analysis . In the DQ perspective it is running perfectly fine.

But when i create a report of that analysis and generate a job out of that report, for Dqreportrun component i am seeing an entry name "jar" in addition to snowflake.jar.

When clicked on install, it is returning with no jar value.

This is only happening if i apply UDI's to my columns.

Any help towards resolution of this issue is appreciated !

Please note : i am using talend data fabric version 8 with latest(May) patch.

Thank You!

Hello,

We are suspecting there is some problem with the snowflake connection in DI job when you are using defined indicator. Maybe tlibraryload component helps in your workflow.

With your subscription solution, could you please raise a support case on talend support portal so that we could give you a remote assistance through support cycle with priority.

Best regards

Sabrina

Hello,

What's error message are you getting when running the DQ reports using tDqreportrun?

You are able to open the error log generated automatically by the Studio to see whether you have error stack trace there.

About how to open this error log: in your Studio, click Window to open the menu, then select Show View->General->Error Log. Once you see an error, double click it.

 Best regards

Sabrina

There is no error message when executed the flow. When executed the DI job, it warns that the jar needs to be installed , but if we ignore the warning and run the program keeps on running with no output results till it is force closed.

The issue of 'jar' is only coming when we use/define user defined indicators.

Thanks!!
