Error importing job builded without elements in Talend

Hi all,

i'm trying to import a deployed job, running in a remote server, to my Talend application in my local machine.

The procedure i'm following is:

  1. Create a new project using as root folder the root folder of this job: this creates an empty project
  2. Right clicking on 'Job Designs' -> Import Items
  3. Selecting the root folder of the job

The problem is it hink this job is missing some folders: the 'process' folder is not present, and i think this is causing the 'There are no valid items to import. Please make sure the selected path contains valid items.' error.

I think that this job was builded with the 'Elements' option unchecked.

Is there some way to restore the job and importing it in Talend Studio, without having it's original project?

Thank you,

Stevan

Hi

Go to check if the folder contains a sub-folder called items, this folder stores the job items. Usually, the 'items' box is checked by default when building the job, without these item files, you can't import the job into studio.
