Computer froze when displaying code, and job disappeared

Hello everyone,

I was working on a job, and I decided to display its code, after saving all my changes.

When I clicked on the code button, my whole computer froze...

After waiting a few minutes, I decided to shut my computer down by force maintaining the button....

After restarting, I launch Talend ESB, and, surprise, my job has disappeared from job trees on the left...

However, I see its folder in \Studio\workspace\myproject\poms\jobs\process\...

I also see its folder in Studio\workspace\myproject\process

Is there a way to import this job from this folder... ?

Thank you for your light 😞

Hello,

On which talend build version you got this issue?

Do you have any .item, .properties and .screenshot files in your folder Studio\workspace\myproject\process?

If you have, please try to click on Windows-->show view, open the Navigator viewer and expand the project folder, copy the .item, .properties and .screenshot files for your job, and paste them to the process folder?

After doing that, please try to back to "Repository" and refresh. Let us know if you can see your job.

Best regards

Sabrina

Hello Sabrina,

I had to keep going, so I imported the latest export I had, and start the job work I lost from zero...

So I can't test now. I also decided, beyond just saving the jobs, export them also quite often, in order to be able to restore them, and don't lose work in case a "big" bug like this which happened.

HOWEVER, I save everything you said. I didn't know the navigator view.

If I encounter this problem again, I'll test what you said !

Thank you a lot
