Connection to a JNDI pool

Hi,
I am using TIS (version 3.2.3).
I would like to know if it is possible to have a connection to a JNDI pool in a job .
Is it a specific component ?
Best regards.

Hello
There is no a specific component for JNDI pool, all the db components base on ODBC/JDBC connection.

That's a bummer. We are in the same boat. It would be really nice to have this feature. A lot of us are using Talend in an integrated project with other java components. It would also help with security as well to not having hard-coded connection string in JDBC. This should be on the radar for the future version of TIS.

No. We plan to work with OpenLDAP. But for now I'm just going to use tLDAPxxx components to directly connect.

People,
I can send you a talend component for manage connections pool. It's a custom tJDBCConnection component. I couldn't attached it in this forum. Send me an email to jmuzikant@gmail.com and I'll send you the code and the installation instructions

Hi,
So far, there is no JNDI component in Talend.
Feel free to vote for this new feature jira issue: https://jira.talendforge.org/browse/TDI-5705
