Don't update modified_date when opening Job

Hi,

when opening a job to view only (no changes). Its always automatically updating the

modified_date of

job file /process/xxxx.properties

  <additionalProperties xmi:id="_1_Bgae64EeuY-KBMRyHq2Q" key="modified_date" value="2021-07-27T16:49:50.571+0200"/>

Is there any way to ignore this / not update this?

Or to automatically open jobs in read only mode when double-clicking?

Hello,

As in v6.2 the modified_date field was not even present in the .properties filed, could you please clarify in which Talend version/edition you are? Open studio or subscription solution?

The "modified" date shown for a folder does not change when contents of a Teams should work the same way and be consistent with Windows.

If you right click ont the job in the repository view of Talend,and select read job , does the date is modified ?

cause I test it and it seems it don't change the modified date when you only read it

No it does not.

But often time people just forget it. Thats why I am wondering to set it as read only by double click by default and activate edit mode manually.

So change the behavior?

Or best would be if its simply not updating by just opening it by double click.
