Excel file : issues with special characters and spaces in the title when I define a Medatadata Excel Format

hello

I have to handle a excel file with special characters (é, à, è û etc and so on)

For example, here is my input data.

titles are on the first line:

0695b00000H8VykAAF.png

when i define an Medatadata Excel Format, spaces are replaced by "_"and "é" is replaced by "e"

0695b00000H8VzEAAV.png

here is my job

0695b00000H8W0WAAV.png

and in my output file i have this : the title are not he same anymore as ia sked to keep the title int the settings of the tfuleOutputExcel

Can i have the same title as my input file?

Hi @citr dsz​ ,

for french accent support you can go in talend to Window--> preference -->Talend-->Specific Settings --> checked Allow specific characters for columns of schema.

Space are not allowed by talend (it's a java variable name constraint on column name),
