Hi ,I'm using talend open studio for data integration.
Im using git. and Im wondering which files should be managed and which ignored.
There are many files and some files change only when I open those.
I think process/*.item is the most important.
poms/ are auto generated ? so i shouldn't mange them in GIT ?
I'll remove old duplicated topic.

Hi,
My suggestion is that do not play with auto generated files created by Talend by adding or removing at GIT level.

I'd like to know, escpecially, poms are auto generated or not.
Which files are auto generated files ?
Yes. All the content in that directory is generated by Talend.

How about process/*/*.properties ?
If you remove it , is this auto-generated? so you shouldn't manage it in git?
Hi,
The most easy way to tell is that do not modify any files in GIT, which was generated by Talend.

I never modify files in git.
Unfortunately I still did not get what you are trying to achieve by this exercise. If you are having lot of issues in managing the entire framework, the best way is to use the enterprise version of Talend where everything is neatly laid out. You just have to give the GIT credentials and TAC or TMC will take care of the rest.
