How can i tell which version of a job is running in Talend Cloud?

Hi,

I've recently moved to the cloud version of Talend. In the TAC it was very clear as the job version it showed you matched what you published in studio. However, in the TIC, it seems to assign an Artifact version number which is different to the version number in the project in studio.

For example at the minute we have a task running in production which shows as version 0.1.3 in the TIC. However, when i log into studio the job is actually on 3.0.0, when i check the history there has never been a version 0.1.3.

How can i tell which version of the job is running in the TIC?

Thanks

Hello @mattt

Could you please have a look at this new feature jira issue:https://jira.talendforge.org/browse/TMC-15659 to see if it is what you are looking for?

Best regards

Hello,

In TMC we have:
- artifact version (published job from Studio)
- task version - scheduled task.

Each task based on some artifact. From Task definition it's always clear what is artifact version used in task. Let us know if it is OK with you.

Thanks for replying @xdshi but I'm still not seeing how i can reconcile between the TMC and studio. For example in the attached screenshot i know a colleague has published artifact 0.1.3. If that version errors and i wanted to look at the code, how can i tell in studio which one of 0.1, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 relates to 0.1.3 in TMC?

Thanks

@xdshi yes i think that feature would cover it. But i guess if it's on hold then it won't be implemented any time soon for the time being this can't be done?

Hello,

Are you able to access talend bug tracker portal with your Jira/exchange/Help account and use the username to login? It is a separate account from the community.

https://jira.talendforge.org/secure/Dashboard.jspa

If you don't have an account yet, you can register one from this page.

https://login.talend.com/register.php

If you don't remember your username, then I would suggest you to reset your password through this form: https://login.talend.com/forgotpassword.php

The system will send you an email with a reset url, which will contain your username (corresponding to your email).

Let us know if you still have trouble after this.

Best regards

Sabrina

@Mohammed ALJEBORI

This feature has been implemented, you can see the Job name and it's version used for the task from task list.
