Hi,
I've recently moved to the cloud version of Talend. In the TAC it was very clear as the job version it showed you matched what you published in studio. However, in the TIC, it seems to assign an Artifact version number which is different to the version number in the project in studio.
For example at the minute we have a task running in production which shows as version 0.1.3 in the TIC. However, when i log into studio the job is actually on 3.0.0, when i check the history there has never been a version 0.1.3.
How can i tell which version of the job is running in the TIC?
Thanks
Thank you @Shicong Hong for your replay. But my question is how to know the job version which is in the studio in TMC i. e if I have a job in the studio of version 0.2 how I get this version from TMC
reagrds
You need to publish the Job from Studio to TMC, and select the version from the list if there exists several versions.
Yes that's correct @Shicong Hong but you can notice that the publish version is different from job version in the studio i.e if I have a job in the studio with version 0.2 then the published version can be 0.1.7. So in the TMC I will have only the artifact version 0.1.7. How I can know from TMC that this artifact version 0.1.7 is for job version 0.2 in the studio?
I hope I explained my needs
Regards
@Mohammed ALJEBORI , thanks for your detailed explanation, I understand your question now, however, I'm afraid we can't still see the job version from TMC, the jira issue https://jira.talendforge.org/browse/TMC-15659 adds the ability to display the artifact name and artifact version in the task list.
Thank you very much @Shicong Hong but I have a problem accessing this link as always I ave the permission error when I click the link you put it in your last comment. You will find in the attached photo the error I had. So could you please tell me how I can access this jira
N.B: I already have account on JIRABest Regards
It's a permission issue, let me check with our colleagues internally.
Hello @Shicong Hong I am still have the same problem of permission so I can't access the JIR issue
Thank you very much if you can solve my problem
