Inserting new records in a look up table in T-Map in same job
Hi,
I am trying to create a job where transactional data (A) is looked up with master data (B) using T-Map utility.
After joining new records are inserted into Table C with surrogate key sequence.New master records in table C should also be populated in Table B. How to do it in single job.
I believe you have connected your tMap to your dboutput component lets say tMSSqlOutput1. Here you are inserting into Table C. Once this is done you could have one more tMSSqlOutput2 component connected after the tMSSqlOutput1. Here you would be having the same schema information as before and you could choose the db action that you would want to perform.
