Joblet breaks when editted

Hi,

I've got a joblet we use in literally every Talend job we have and it works fine. The problem is that anytime i try to edit this joblet to add / amend functionality, it saves ok but then every job fails to compile and when i look at the code tab there is nothing there. When i reopen the subjob it looks like the screenshot, it seems to have duplicated all the input and outputs to components and also the jobscript tab is blank.

I have to revert the joblet back to a previous version to fix this which means i cannot make any changes!

Anyone know why this happens?

I've tried to delete the extra connections and save but when i reopen the joblet it generates the extra connections again.

Could you please clarify in which Talend version/edition you are? Is it working well after restarting your studio?

Talend Cloud Data Management Platform Version: 7.2.1

Unfortunately a restart doesn't fix the issue
