When an email is read from Gmail (IMAP), the mail file created contains encrypted message text. How to decrypt?
Thanks,
Rasyq
Hello,
These encrypted messages are in message or attachement? Are you able to use tfileinputmail component to read the standard key data of a given MIME or MSG email file? Does this issue repro on other email server(office 365?)
Best regards
Sabrina

Thanks Sabrina for replying.
The original Gmail email message body is plain text. There are no attachments. I can read various message headers (To, From, Date, Subject) through tFileInputMail. But mail part "Message" output is blank. Is the mail part declaration correct?
When I used to use tPOP nearly 10 years ago there was no encryption. Gmail has changed. I don't have option to check on other mail servers.
Thanks,

Worked!
Mail Type 'MSG' throws error
Exception in component tFileInputMail_1 (FuelRateEmailToDB01)
org.apache.poi.poifs.filesystem.NotOLE2FileException: Invalid header signature; read 0x65726576696C6544, expected 0xE11AB1A1E011CFD0 - Your file appears not to be a valid OLE2 document
So MIME is used. The mail part 'Body' worked whereas mail parts 'HtmlBody' and 'RtfBody' both return null.
Also one has to lower down Google account security.
