job conversion issue from 6.5.1 to 7.3.1

As per your guidelines, we need to have 90 days atleast ahead of expiry date for talend license. And when we tried importing Tallend-6.5.3 job to Talend-7.3.1 we are facing issues in tHDFSConnection,tMap and tHiveConnection componets with respect to this job. We have issues in other componets which we use in rest of the jobs.

 

So we need a opinion from Talend support team. Could you please loop Talend support team here(We cant send mails to external domains).

 

Note:

From Talend 7.0 onward, a digital signature is added to each project item when it is saved in Talend Studio. When importing a project or project items, Talend Studio validates the signatures and rejects items with an invalid signature. This is a security measure to prevent accidental or malicious modification of project items.

However, you can import a project or project items exported from an earlier version of Talend Studio before the expiration date of a 90-day grace period from the first installation of Talend Studio or before the date set in the migration token, whichever comes later. Upon successful import, all imported items are signed.

With your migration issue, could you please create a support case on talend support portal?

As per the below below guidelines, we need Migration Token along with Talend License for Talend 7.3 version . And we spoke to Singapore Talend Support Team, They suggested us to seek your help to get Migration Token. Kindly provide Migration Token to proceed.

As you also mentioned, there has been a support case to address this issue (00207546). Could you log in to the support portal and resume the discussion over the support case with our support team? The community cannot handle migration token request since it's for commercial customers. It should be handled within a support case. Thanks for your understanding.

we have used the migration token and followed the steps given by talend team.

·       Now we are able to import the job build from talend 6.5 . I am able to import the job and it has all configurations(hive and hdfs)

·       When we try to run the job in server. It is giving table or view not found error even though table present.

·       Also tried standard query(select ‘Account’ as v_acct,’org’ as v_org ) in tHiveInput component, it is running successfully. I have noticed problem is getting only we are trying to access a table from our server.
