Hi, I have a xls and a tOracleInput data source which I am trying to feed into a tMap in order to perform a join. However, when ever I try to link the main from the tOracle to the tMap as the second input, it will not connect. I'm sure I've done this before and can not work out why this fails. Any suggestions?. try to remove the tOnComponentOk pointing on your tOracleInput and then link it to the tMap
you can not attach a trigger link to a lookup component of tMap.

The screen shot is attached. In the screen shot both the tOracleInput and tFileInputExcel are linked to the tMap in that order.
If I link the tFileInputExcel first then I am, for a reason I can not figure, unable to link the tOracleInput. I need to join the Oracle data against the Excel data. As such I need the Oracle data to appear as the second table in the tMap to get the correct left outer join.

Alevy, I'm not sure if this is the answer but............... I deleted the components, replaced them, then linked the data sources in clockwise order around the tMap. Worked first time!. Regards. Nobby.
