runtime server vs job server vs execution server

Hi,

i'm a newbie to Talend. By learning Talend architecture I saw those 3 terms runtime server, job server and execution server.

Unfortunately, the Talend documentation did not help me to understand these 3 terms and to differentiate between them.

Can someone help me understand these 3 terms and explain when/what to use these 3 servers for?

Thanks.

Hi

Talend Runtime is an OSGi container, based on Apache Karaf, can be used as an execution server to deploy and run OSGi Route and Data Service Tasks.

Jobserver, one application of Talend enterprise product, can be used to deploy and execute Talend DI jobs.

execution server, a machine where you install Talend Runtime or Jobserver.
