Fields and master items not visibles in insight advisor

Hello,

I don't understand how works insight advisor.

Depending on the analysis, certain fields may or may not be available... I create a calendar period in Business logic :

For example, for the field "Nb Events" :

  • I specified in the Fields&Groups section, the defautlt aggr, visibility, etc
  • I have also a master item which is just sum(Nb event)

But when I want to create a period over period analysis, I can only select DurationsMs ! Nb Event is not available.

i say ok let's select a master item, but all are gray 😞

What am I doing wrong ? My model is very simple, I have only one table and one autocalendar.

If I create a Kmeans analysis, the master item Nb Event is available :

Thanks for your help !

Hello @paulcalvet - Part of this depends on the analysis type. The Period over Period analysis type is one that requires autocalendar to work and does not support master items (for now).

For the analysis types that are not Period based, like ranked, are you able to confirm the master items are classified correctly in the Business Logic?

Wouah this is a huge limitation !

Yes for simple analysis I can see master items, do you know when it will be available ?

Explain this to ordinary users is impossible, without this feature I can't deploy and promote this functionnality.

Thanks
