Hi,
On a TOS 6.5.1 fresh install, I'm not able to connect to my compay's proxy to download .jar files or "Additional Packages".
With the exact same configuration (same preferences Network COnnections - same org.eclipse.core.net.prefs file too), it works with TOS 6.5.1M4 studio ...
Any idea ?
A workaround ?
Thanks
Hi Sabrina,
I'm also experiencing this issue. Here are the steps to reproduce:
* Unzip TOS V6.5.1
* Launch the Studio
* Ensure proxy settings are set up
* Window > Show View... > Talend > Modules
* In the Talend Modules window, click the green download button
* The download window appears but no libraries are shown
* The download window may sometimes hang when you attempt to close it
* Close the download window when it is no longer in a hanging state
* Close the Studio
* An error window appears stating: "An error has occured. See the log file"
This is with a fresh unzip of TOS and so the issue couldn't be custom components.
I got the exact same issue with a platform version of 6.5.1 Studio (Real TIme Big Data platform).
Hi,
I don't understand why this issue TUP-19506 was closed !
The tup-19270 given as the same issue (so TUP-19506 is duplicate) is related to talend 6.4.1 not 6.5.1
The issue TUP-19506 I created concerns 6.5.1 TOS proxy issue
Can you tell us if the problem was fixed ? In which TOS version can we find the fix ?
thanks
Hello,
Have you tried to use talend open studio for data integration v 7.0.1 to see if this issue is fixed?
Best regards
Sabrina
Hi Sebrina,
Yes the version 7.0.1 correct the problem
so do we have to migrate all out project in the version 6.5.1 to the version 7.0.1 ?!!
Why not make the same correction on the version 6.5.1 ?!
thanks
Hello @ssky
Credential are not saved due to an eclipse configuration problem.
The first time talend open studio (>=6.5) or eclipse is installed, we have to configure secure storage in order to passwords to be saved.
Please try to Window=>Preference=>General=>Security=>Secure storage then change master password. This simple step allowed us to save our proxy password.
Let us know if it is OK with you on V 6.5.
Best regards
Sabrina
