My team recently updated Talend Studio version from the Oct 2024 release to the Apr 2024 release. The "Applied Update Version" in Talend Management Console in the cloud was updated to Apr 2024. The projects were migrated to the new Apr 2024 version, and committed, and merged into the main branch. The reference project commit tag was updated. The users have all pulled changes down from the git server, and merged those changes into their feature branch.
However, whenever switching to a branch that was already migrated, Talend Studio is prompting again that
Studio version higher than projects version
To open the project(s) [Project1, Project2] in this Studio, you need to migrate them to [2024-04] [...]
Migrate your projects now or test?
If we select Migrate, and commit, it will still prompt again the next time we switch back to that branch, to migrate again.
Anyone experience this or have advice to stop getting this prompt?
Figured it out, the Project2 was being referenced with the wrong tag that was still pointing to a pre-upgrade commit. Updated the tag to a post-upgrade commit.
